Poomsae, gyeorugi, demonstration
Poomsae
Patterns
Set sequences of movement against an imagined opponent. It is where focus and memory get built, and where most of a student's grading is won.
Gyeorugi
Sparring
Controlled, protected, tactical. Students learn to read an opponent, stay safe, and think quickly under pressure.
Demonstration
Performance
The jumps and kicks students actually want to learn. Demanding on coordination and explosive strength, and the fastest route to a child performing in front of an audience without flinching.
Toddler, primary, youth & adult
Toddler
6 and below
Short, structured lessons that build coordination, listening and confidence.
Primary
from 7
Technique and discipline pitched at primary-school energy, taught in small groups.
Youth & Adult
teens and adults
Training for teens and adults, from a first lesson to belt gradings.
Within each age group, beginners and graded students are taught in smaller groups, so training is pitched at the right level.
How a student progresses
Students who are new to Taekwondo, with no belt from another school, begin at Foundation 1 and work through Foundation 3 before joining the regular belt system. Curriculum and gradings follow the official Singapore Taekwondo Federation syllabus, and gradings are assessed by an STF-registered examiner.

The first grading day is done
